Bio

I took my first photos at the age of ten when a counselor at Camp Starfish introduced me to the camera lens. I have been fascinated ever since and it has become my passion, my first love and the visual art I am most committed to. I am most inspired by landscape, wildlife, floral, and black and white photography. I enjoy finding new angles, capturing different light exposures and experimenting with new photographic formats.

I love being regarded as an artist living with autism. And through photography, I have learned perseverance, determination, how failures can lead to success, and most importantly, how community and public support on both ends has nurtured my photographic endeavors.

I am a graduate with High Honors from Cape Cod Community College MA in Photography and Graphic Design and a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. In 2020, Boston Children's Hospital ( produced by the L'Attitude Art Gallery of Boston) chose my photos to be hung and exhibited in the main hallway of their new wing. I am the promotional photographer for many Cape Cod MA businesses including the Fletcher Tilton Resource Guide for Individuals with Disabilities. I also enjoy being the official photographer for the Cape Cod Baseball League, Orleans Firebirds. My photos are produced on calendars, note cards and commissioned prints by Cape Cod Photo Art and Framing. Fun fact: I am famous for wearing unique socks. Ergo - Sockman Photography.
